Condominiums are located on the east end of St. Thomas, on the peaceful
side of Red Hook, adjacent to Vessup Bay beach, and the National
Park Service landing. Between the two, is Latitude 18, a small
marina and bar.
Here
you'll find local sailors swapping sea stories, Happy Hours
leading to reasonably priced dinners that often include live
entertainment.
A five minute walk south brings you to Bluebeards Beach. This undeveloped beach which neighbors the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas, is a favorite for locals especially windsurfers, and is a popular spot for weekend beach Bar-B-Qs.
A few minutes drive from Eastwind is Red Hook, where ferries cast off hourly for the 15 minute ride to the island of St. John. Charter sailing, sport fishing, snorkel and scuba excursions depart daily from Red Hook's American Yacht Harbor marina. Small power boat rentals are also available.
