September 2-3, 2000

Total Prizes over $9000.00 The Grand Slam, wins $3500.00 in cash and prizes! 

The Boat with the largest Grand Slam, one each of all four species Dolphin, Kingfish, Wahoo and Tuna combination by weight, is the winning Grand Slam. The largest Slam is any combination of any three of the of the target species. If no Grand Slams are caught, the Boat with the largest slam would be the first place winner. Fish caught on both days will be counted toward the Grand Slam and or the Slam. Note: Fed. Law requires a Permit for some Tuna, be Legal!

2 R.T. US Airways Tickets to any place in the USA/ Canada to First Place!!!

2 R.T. Cape Air Tickets any place Cape Air Flies!!!

Texaco Award to the boat with the most weight of target fish, any mix.

$200.00 fuel, 1^st place $100.00 fuel 2^nd place.

$500.00 per day to the largest fish of any of the four target species.

Shimano Reels, Contender Rods to largest fish of each species.

 Weigh-in at Offshore Marine (in Sub Base)

Crown Bay Marina will give a discount on fuel for all Tournament Boats

Airline Tickets to any where in the US - Shimano Rods and Reels, Texaco Fuel, Coors Light, Paradise Rum, Coca-Cola, Bar-B-Q Awards Dinner, Trophies, and 2 days of Competition. All for a entry fee of just $180.00 per VIGFC member Boat, $200.00 per non-member Boat, for 4 anglers.

IGFA Rules apply. Rulebooks are available at the VIGFC for your information.

 Overnight Mooring is avail. at Offshore Marine and Dinghy’s will be transporting anglers and fish to the dock. The dingy will start at 6:00am for lines in at 7:30 and boats must be at the dock by 4:00pm or that days catch will not count. No exceptions! Showers avail. at Offshore Marine.

Sep. 2 Weigh-in at 4:00pm Free Coors Light, Paradise Rum Drinks and Snacks on the dock.

Sep. 3 Weigh-in at 4:00pm Free Coors Light, Paradise Rum and Awards dinner at 6:30pm.

  VIGFC will request a fish from every Boat for the awards dinner.
