Fragrant Frangipani

The Frangipani is a very special tree. They can grow up to a height of 6 to 10 meters tall. The flowers are large and fragrant. The scent is said to have a 'lightening' effect, or one of making our burdens less severe. To Buddhists it is a symbol of immortality, and it is regarded as the Tree of Life in Shri Lanka.
