Are you anxious to see all 32 square miles St Thomas, a lush tropical paradise? If so, you can either rent a car or take a guided tour. Whatever you do, your explorations will take you up winding hills and along mountainous roadways where it’s guaranteed each breathtaking panorama is more dramatic than the one before. A particularly famous stop is Drake’s Seat — the vantage point where Sir Francis Drake himself used to sit and observe his fleet.
Just below Drake’s Seat is Magens Bay Beach, USVI , touted by National Geographic Magazine as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
To the west of Drake’s Seat, another “must see” is MountainTop. Looming 1,500 feet above sea level, this festive shopping complex offers unparalleled vistas showcasing the US and British Virgin Islands. By the way, it’s also home to the World Famous Banana Daiquiri — made exclusively with Cruzan Rum of the Virgin Islands. A well-known attraction on the other side of town is Paradise Point. At this aptly named attraction, you can take a state-of-the-art tramway 700 feet to look out over Charlotte Amalie Harbor and beyond.
On St Thomas you will find everything from premiere hotels and quaint guesthouses to one-of-a-kind watering holes and fine dining restaurants featuring international cuisine. St Thomas also has a spectacular 18-hole golf course, a marine park, several tennis facilities, boats for charter, and even a bowling center. Historical sites are plentiful, too. The Visitors’ Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce have plenty of flyers, maps and brochures on hand to keep you up-to-date with island attractions and activities.
Let’s take a look at all the fun ways you can see the island:

If you prefer, the local helicopter service is also ready to host you on a scenic tour or drop you off on a deserted island for a romantic picnic. Charters are reasonably priced; your hotel concierge will be pleased to arrange your tour.
